How long are the dinosaur performances?


Our performances start at 30 minutes and go up from there. Our most popular package is the 1 Hour Show. *Note: The 1 hour show includes a 15 minute intermission to allow the performers to rest. It's kinda hot in those dinos!




What age groups do you recommend for the dinosaurs?


For our Big Dinosaurs we recommend ages 3 and up. We will adjust the dinosaurs personality to suit the age group. It's always our goal for all ages enjoy playing with our dinosaurs! Our Baby Dinosaurs are fun for any age under the sun!




How big are the dinosaurs and how much space will I need?


For the big dinosaurs we recommend a clear and designated "performance" space of 20ft x 20ft for the characters to perform the show. Please be aware this does not include sitting or standing room for your party or event guests. The big dinosaurs are 7ft tall and 13ft long so adequate space is needed. If the services are to be performed indoors, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND a minimum ceiling height of 10ft tall to allow room for the dinosaur tails move and sway without hitting any ceiling fans, light fixtures, etc. The dinosaurs are 7ft tall but the tails can reach up to 10ft when in motion.




Will the dinosaurs be too scary for my child?


We get this question all the time! Don't worry, while we cannot predict how all personality types will react to our dinosaurs, ages 3 and older typicallly get on famously with our big dinosaurs! We always do our best to adjust the dinosaur's personality to suit the age range of each audiance we entertain. Just think of our big dinosaurs as over-grown puppies! Cute, rambunctious, and friendly...




What happens if it rains?


We HIGHLY RECOMMEND having a Plan B for your party or event if we are scheduled to perform outdoors. Our dinosaurs are too large to bring into most homes and we advise against this. Although it can be challenging to provide an option for shelter for our large dinosaurs (7ft tall, 13ft long) we suggest checking availability at local party halls, event venues, parks with large covered pavilions, etc. just in case the weather changes last minute. Are you available on week days?


Yes! However depending on the time of year we may have limited weekday availability. Be sure to include date and time info when you submit a Booking Request.




What are the cancellation and refund policies?


Booking Fees are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel and reschedule your event for a later date, please notify us no less than 5 days before the scheduled services. We will hold all payments as credit to be applied towards a future booking with Wild Dinosaurs for up to 1 year from the original date. If your event is cancelled less than 5 days before the scheduled services, a $100 rescheduling fee will be charged before the services can be rescheduled.




How much parking space is required for Wild Dinosaurs vehicles?


Please provide parking for a truck and trailer (2 car lengths). Additional parking spaces may be required for additional Wild Dinosaurs team members.




Will you bring everything you need?


Of course! We are professionals therefore we are self sufficient and bring everything we need for our services. The only things we may ask for is access to a restroom or the locations of available electrical outlets at the party or event location.




What if I don't have a large covered outdoor space in case of rain?


Just in case the weather changes last minute, we suggest checking availability at local party halls, event venues, public and community parks with large covered pavilions, etc. It never hurts to have a plan B! Tent rental services are also readily available and can be a good option if the weather is showing a strong chance of rain. Do you charge a travel fee?


All services beyond 30 miles from Houston are subject to a $75 travel fee which may increase based on the distance to your location. Please keep in mind that nearly all of our services require the use of a truck and trailer as well as additional performer's vehicles to commute to each event. For parties and events beyond the greater Houston area, a custom travel fee may be determined based on the details of your event such as: distance, number of Wild Dinosaurs team members needed to provide the services, lodging expenses, etc.




Should I tip the performers?


While tips are not expected, tipping entertainers is very common practice. Professional entertainers are very passionate about their craft and spend many hours practing and perfecting their talents so tips are always a wonderful display of appreciation!
